Nadi Astrology in Vaitheeswaran Koil
Vaitheeswaran Koil is prime centre for nadi jothidam. Found in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Vaitheeswaran Koil is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Shiva. Worshipped as Vaidyanathar, or Vaitheeswaran, Shiva is regarded as the “God of healing” and prayers to Vaitheeswaran are said to heal illnesses. Tamil derivation Vaitheeswaran comes from vaidya (Doctor) and Ishvara (God/ Master). While East side is the usual one, the ruling deity is Sri vaidyanathan, facing West. He is the deity of healing. When pronouncing in Tamil, it sounds like “vaideeswaran”. Linked with the planet Mars (Angaraka), it is one of the nine Navagraha (nine planet) temples.
